Caurus Academy High School Art
I am also a teacher at Caurus Academy High School located in Anthem, AZ. My Art Program and curriculum revolves a lot around getting my students active, not just in the making of art but also learn how to sell, promote and become vendors for the future. We use a variety of materials to create and I really focus on getting my art classes to work together when it comes to mural building and design.
I started taking my students from Caurus Academy to venues to display their own artwork at places like the Unexpected Gallery, High Street and Odyssea to teach my students how to become vendors themselves and learn how to share and sell their work around 2018. My senior classes and I work on murals throughout the school and they have essentially become my team of muralists for anyone who needs one! We also just recently had a Silent Auction for the students the opportunity to see what it is like to auction off their artwork and make prints.
